On March 4, 2021 and March 12, 2021, BBB requested that the business modify its website to be in compliance with the BBB Code of Advertising.
Specifically, BBB noted that virtually every item on the business’s website appears to be "on sale." The BBB Code of Advertising addresses sales and pricing issues in Sections 2-7. The offered prices of items on the website appear to be the usual selling prices and not representative of a limited sale as their advertising implies with a struck out price that accompanies every “sale” price.
In addition, the business’s “About Us” page includes the statement, “We are also a socially responsible company and have planted many thousands trees and counting in partnership with the National Forest Foundation.”
BBB requested substantiation that the business has partnered with the National Forest Foundation and has contributed to the cause as described on their website.
The business did not respond to these concerns.
