- Additional Info:Wesley Pawloski, owner of Blackstone Partners LLC, has been charged with four counts of Felony Contractor Fraud following an investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department. According to a press release, detectives began investigating Pawloski in July of 2023 when a resident reported paying the company for construction work that was never completed. According to the press release, several sub-contractors had also provided construction services for Blackstone Partners, but never received full payment for their work. In September 2024, detectives learned that Pawloski was continuing to accept money for construction projects under a different business name, Designed Construction LLC, collecting money for home improvement services but not completing work. Pawloski was arraigned on the charges on 10/30/24 and 11/05/24.
Sheriff's Office detectives have been in contact with neighboring police agencies regarding victims identified in other jurisdictions around West Michigan.
