About

Important information

  • Additional Info:
The BBB would like to inform consumers that Mike Doman, the owner of Midwest Drain Tile & Waterproofing, was also the owner of Waterproofing Solutions, Inc. out of New Lenox, IL. Waterproofing Solutions, Inc has been a former BBB member, however the company's membership was revoked in October 2006 due to failure to meet BBB membership standards.
The company did not meet standards that state that a member must agree to support the purpose and principles of the Better Business Bureau, not engage in any activity that reflects unfavorably on the BBB and its members, and enjoys a good business reputation in the community. The company likewise did not meet the standard which requests that a BBB member must be free from any substantive governmental action concerning the marketplace and its customers. Waterproofing Solutions' principal agents were found to have had substantive governmental action taken against their previous companies. For the aforementioned reasons the company was found to not be in compliance with the membership requirement to support the principles and purpose of the Better Business Bureau. As a result of the membership suspension, Waterproofing Solutions Inc has requested a hearing to appeal the BBB's decision. The hearing had been scheduled for December 20th, 2006, but the company did not attend the hearing which was requested by them. As a result of the aforementioned facts, Waterproofing Solutions' BBB membership was revoked by the BBB Board of Directors.

For further information on Michael Doman's former company, please see the BBB report on Waterproofing Solutions, Inc.
