  Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:

  Rocketmiles Enters Assurance of Discontinuance with the Attorney General of the State of Washington
  On 11/15/2019 the business entered into an assurance of discontinuance with the Attorney General of the State of Washington. The Assurance settles allegations that the business made false or misleading statements and advertisements that consumers will "pay-the same rate" for the same hotel booking with Rocketmiles as compared to competitor OTAs or booking direct with the hotel, when and where the consumers paid an additional fee when booking said hotel with Rocketmiles, made false or misleading statements to consumers that Rocketmiles does not charge additional fees for hotel bookings when and where Rocketmiles does charge consumers additional fees for hotel bookings, and made false or misleading statements to consumers that Rocketmiles does not receive itemized information for taxes associated with hotel bookings when and where it does receive such information. Under terms of the Assurance, the business agreed to not engage in the conduct identified and will not associate with, contract with, hire, or engage others to do so on its behalf. The Assurance was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to here
