              I bought multiple items and after checking out realized I didnt click the free item onto my basket. I called the company multiple times as well as emailed them explaining such. They told me they cannot modify the order which I understood but then proceeded to lie to me that my order had already shipped and could not cancel it. They also refused to send me my free gift in which they advertised. After my fourth phone call I was lied to again and told my free item promo would be shipped. I asked for a confirmation email and it did not come.upon further calls I found out I was again lied to and it would not be shipped and I was hung up on. This was false advertising and extremely poor customer service.

              On 12/05/21 an employee at Ulta Beauty discriminated against me, by refusing to give me a lipstick color that she believed was too light for my skintone. I was at the Mac counter. I asked for the color twig. The associate claimed that she was out of the color. I asked for a similar color. The associate started trying colors on her skin instead of mine, and replied these are too light. She gave me a weird look. I thanked her and left. I contacted management at the store in regards to the incident. She claimed there was no such person in her store. I told her that, I could return to the store to pick the employee out. I have a receipt that proves that I was in the store on 12/ 05/21. It is very disturbing to know that women of color are not allowed to buy light lipstick colors unless we have caucasian skin. That is the message that I got from the associate.
