We received a submission in BBB's Scam Tracker regarding the marketplace practices of Chariot Cavalier Home.
The consumer alleged that they paid $800 to Chariot Cavalier Home for a puppy and received a tracking number through Global Air. The consumer further alleges that Global Air requested an additional $1,490 for pet insurance that they could not pay. The consumer states that they were told the puppy would go into quarantine.
BBB asked Chariot Cavalier Home to respond to the consumer's allegations.

BBB asked Chariot Cavalier Home to provide answers to the following questions:
1. BBB was unable to locate the required competency license for your company name in Georgia. Please provide your license information.
2. What is the telephone number of your company?
3. Your company address is the same as several "puppy scams" in BBB's database. The company names are Elegant Beagle Home, Handpicked Pomeranian and Paramount Beagle Pups. Please explain.
Chariot Cavalier Home did not respond to BBB.

Consider getting a rescue dog if having a purebred dog is not a priority. Generally, rescues are less expensive than purebred pets and often have fewer health problems.
