Limited Warranty Information

Exterior Paint Warranty:

Color World House Painting will re-coat areas of coating failure caused by improper application (when coating(s) applied by Color World peel away from previously existed coatings. This is called Intercoat Peeling) or defective materials when supplied and applied by Color World. This Warranty is valid upon receipt of Full Payment. The term of this warranty starts upon completion of the job for the following number of years.

One year: One coat of acrylic latex paint or stain applied.

Two years: Two coats of acrylic latex paint or stain applied.

The Color World House Painting Warranty is void on the following surfaces and/or circumstances: Floors; Decks; Steps; Tops of Railings; Fences; Rusted Surfaces; Rotting Areas; Exterior Varnished Surfaces; Total Coat Peeling (peeling to bare wood caused by moisture); coating failure caused by Structural Damage.

Color World House Painting makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, except as contained above. Warranty requests received after August 31st of the current year will be performed the following year. Warranty work is performed by a specialized person during our regular operating season (June-August).


Interior Paint Warranty:

Preparation Procedures:

1. Color World House Painting will fill cracks in walls prior to painting (Color World is not responsible for re-cracking).
2. Color World will caulk around baseboards and trim as needed.
3. All items must be removed from walls prior to Color World's arrival (Color World will remove all plate covers).
4. All furniture must be moved prior to Color World's arrival.

Painting Procedures:

1. Nail pops are not part of normal prep. Contact your sales representative for pricing.
2. Wallpaper removal is not included. Contact your sales representative for pricing.
3. Any more than 3 colors will be an extra $50.00 per color.
Color World has a 30-day touch up warranty and will re-coat areas of coating failure caused by improper application. This Warranty is valid upon receipt of Full Payment.


Conditions and Terms:

1. Terms shall be defined as follows: a) "Your interior painting quotation" shall mean the front side of this form that outlines the areas to be painted and preparation & painting procedures provided by Color World. b) "Your exterior painting quotation" shall mean the front side of this form that outlines the areas to be painted and preparation & painting procedures provided by Color World. c) The exterior painting or interior painting services and materials provided by Color World are as described on the front of this form.

2. a) Customer agrees to pay Color World the deposit as stated on the front side of this form. b) Customer agrees to pay Color World the total amount owed under this Agreement. c) Customer has three days after signing of contract or placing of deposit with Color World to cancel contract with full refund. After the three-day period, a $250.00 cancellation fee will be withheld by Color World if the work has not yet started. If the work has begun (Color Consultation, Power Washing or Painting has started), the full deposit will be forfeited to Color World.

3. a) Color World agrees to furnish all equipment labor and materials necessary to complete the work started on the opposite side. b) Color World agrees to hold the customer free from lien after full payment has been made of the completed Exterior Painting Quotation Service. c) Color World agrees to hold/commence painting or staining within the time period stated on the Exterior Painting Quotation Form, the weather and other conditions beyond Color World control permitting. d) Customer will pay all costs of collection, legal expenses, and reasonable attorney's fees, whether hourly or contingent, incurred by Color World in enforcing this Agreement and collecting the sums owed hereunder.

4. Color World is not responsible for color selection. We can suggest and provide color charts for prospective colors, but the final decision about color will rest solely on the Customer.

5. Subcontractors. Contractor at his discretion may delegate any portion of the work by Subcontractor with responsible Subcontractors, but such delegation shall not relieve Contractor of full responsibility for the work. Any corresponding subcontract shall require the Subcontractor to be bound to the full terms of this Contract to the extent of his work, and it shall allow the Subcontractor the benefit of the same rights and remedies afforded the Contractor by this Contract.
