Important information

  • Additional Info:
On June 16, 2016, BBB was made aware of a business operating in the Spokane area called Agricultural Guest Workers Recruitment Organization or AGWRO. The organization claims to have started in 1988 by Glen Bell, Jr. to assist US Farms in the recruitment of foreign workers and to provide immigration services. They claim to assist individuals from all over the world in settling across the USA.

BBB could not locate a required business license or registration with Washington’s Department of Revenue or Secretary of State.  The address provided is a Holiday Inn Express. The pictures on their website of their contacts - http://agriculturaloverseaslabor.webs.com/our-contacts  are not real.  For example, the photo shown of Glen Bell Jr. is actually a picture of William Underwood, President of Mercer University.

BBB reached out to this organization in order to find out more information about them. To date, BBB has not received a response.

BBB received information indicating this organization requires applicants to pay an application/recruitment fee and insurance fees.

Please note: Your employer may not require you to pay, either directly or indirectly, for any employer costs related to obtaining the H-2A labor certification, including the employer’s attorney or agent fees, the application fees, or the recruitment costs. Your employer must provide workers’ compensation and any required tools, supplies, and equipment at no cost to you.
