- Additional Info:Pacific High School, McHill High School, Foster City High School, Woodfield High School, Victorville High School, Addison High School, Fortville High School, and McFord High School all indicate on their websites that they offer online education courses, diplomas and certificates for upfront fees. The company came to our attention in 2014 and BBB continues to receive complaints regarding Pacific High School and it's trade names.
On October 22nd, 2014, BBB received a complaint from a consumer that had used this business for their services.
On October 22nd, BBB sent certified mail to the Richmond, Virginia address the business provides on their website and it was returned undeliverable as address on October 30th.
On October 30th, BBB contacted the building owner to inquire about these online high schools. The company that owns this building advised me that they did not have a business of those names located in their office building. She gave me a name of Outsource Rush, which is a business that has rented space in their building and they also offer online diplomas and certificates. BBB sent mail to the same address with an updated suite number but it was returned as undeliverable as address on November 4th. BBB tried to contact the business at the phone number provided by the consumer and on the business’s website but the business did not answer or give the BBB a return call. BBB has not received a response from the business. BBB checked the State Corporation Commission for a Limited Liability Corporation filing and there is no record of the business.
While investigating, BBB found that the website domain is registered to an organization called DNC Holding, Inc. The domain is registered in Metairie, Louisiana. The administrator of this website is set as private and BBB has not been able to locate this company.
BBB urges consumers not to get involved with these alleged online schools. The Virginia Department of Education does not recognize these online high schools as accredited, meaning the diploma or certificate cannot be verified. - Additional Info:McFord High School is not located at the address provided to consumers.
