- Additional Info:Eagle Shipping Ltd. was first brought to the attention of the Better Business Bureau on September 12, 2022. A Better Business Bureau investigation revealed that Eagle Shipping Ltd did not have a 2023 business license according to the Commissioner of Revenue for Norfolk, Virginia. An Internet search of the company and address revealed no adverse information about the company and the address on file with BBB was revealed to be for a private residence that is being used by this company. As of the date of this Business Profile, the company has had one alert posted to the BBB's ScamTracker page: https://www.bbb.org/scamtracker/us.
According to information consumers have provided to BBB, they purchased a pet from an alleged online breeder, then are contacted by Eagle Shipping Ltd. alleging additional money is needed before transportation of the animal. In most cases the additional money is allegedly needed to cover, a new travel cage or insurance. After the additional money is paid, the pet is never received.
On December 11, 2023, the BBB sent an investigation letter to the company requesting basic information such as headquarters location, ownership, time in business, licensure, fees, and transportation time frame. At the time of this Business Review, the company did not respond to the BBB's request and the letter has not been returned by the post office.
