A Better Business Bureau investigation revealed that Hotwhitepot or Hotside.store does not have a 2022 business license according to the Commissioner of Revenue for Norfolk, Virginia. An Internet search of the company, principal, and address revealed negative customer reviews on both companies. A viral search of the address on file with BBB was revealed to belong to another company and listed as a private residence. The company has had numerous reports posted to the BBB's ScamTracker page: https://www.bbb.org/scamtracker/us.
According to the information supplied by inquiring consumers, they had found the website through an ad on Facebook. They ordered and paid for merchandise which has not been received. According to the company's website, they sell leather bags for men.
