          Discount Energy Services provides Washington, D.C. metropolitan homeowners with upgraded attic insulation.  We also insulate crawl spaces, walls, garages, and basements.  We specialize in older homes but almost any house can benefit from additional insulation to save on energy costs.  We also provide foam sealing to stop air leaks and we can remove insulation also, if necessary.  Radiant barrier can also be installed under the roof rafters to reflect the heat out of the attic in the summer and back down into the house during the winter.  A well ventilated attic makes the house easier to cool in the summer, which we always ensure prior to adding more insulation.
