Officiates wedding ceremonies, aids in writing of vows and thank you's, remits wedding documents and assists in wedding legalities. Assists in the writing of memoirs.
I lead/officiate wedding ceremonies. I also consult with clients in advance regarding the content they do, or do not, want to include as part of their 20 to 25-minute ceremony. As a courtesy, I will lead the rehearsal; however, it is not a service I advertise. I primary serve Salt Lake County, secondarily, I serve Weber, Davis, Tooele, Wasatch, and Summit Counties. I have also officiated in Logan UT and Zion National Park. My approach is to include humor to keep the ceremony fun. The ceremony scripting I have developed is free of references to faith or religion. If a couple would like to include an element of their faith, I invite them to designate someone to lead an opening prayer, or designate someone to read a scripture of their choice.
I am ordained as a Right Reverend through Universal Life Ministries. Also, I am endorsed as both a Humanist Celebrant and a Humanist Chaplain by the American Humanist Association.
