Since January 2016, the BBB of Houston & South Texas has received multiple disputes that exhibit the following pattern.
According to consumer disputes, it has been alleged that Webster Enterprise has been selling defective products at Home and Garden Shows. The consumers are also alleging that they are not able to get in touch with the company by phone to request a replacement or refund within the required 30 day satisfaction guaranteed return policy. The company does not respond to or resolve the disputes via the Houston BBB.
The company has provided the following statement:
This letter is in response to the allegations against Webster Enterprises, Spring Texas. We sell many different products at trade shows, state fairs, home shows and Christmas Shows. We search for good quality products to sell at these venues. We sell thousands of products a year and do get a defective or one with a missing part on occasion. Some customers buy products and get then home decide it’s not for them. We do offer a 30 day money back guarantee.
Our company has grown in the last year and we are busier than ever. We try to take care of customers in a timely fashion. We have added extra help to handle the extra load placed on our company in the last few months. We are a 40 year old family based business that try to treat customers like we would like to be taken care of.
