Insurian advertises “InsurianVRP™ the first and only Vehicle Return Plan that can be purchased as a stand-alone product at the time a loan or lease is originated.”
BBB Code of Advertising states the primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.
BBB requested Insurian to substantiate the advertisement or discontinue the advertised claim.Insurian also advertises:
“90% of customers ranked an InsurianVRP product as one of the top 3 products they would consider purchasing when they purchase their next vehicle.”
“92% of today’s customers that said they intend to finance their next vehicle said that a Complimentary InsurianVRP product would absolutely influence where they purchase their next vehicle or obtain their next loan.
“90% of customers say they would buy a VRP product over any other product except a service contract.”
“100% of customers say having the ability to purchase a VRP product would absolutely influence where they obtain their next loan.”
