On May 10, 2021, BBB reviewed a pattern of consumer complaints that this company, BINT, LLC, is taking payment from consumers as an investment into a crowdfund that promised a return on investment that was never paid, that the company offered individual payment for recruitment of new investors that was never paid, and complaints and requests for refunds going ignored or unprocessed by customer service.


On May 10, 2021, BBB sent BINT, LLC communication requesting the company's voluntary cooperation to respond to BBB's request for information.


Notably, BBB has also requested documentation to verify proper registration to conduct business in Texas.


As of June 9, 2021, the business has failed to respond to BBB's inquiry.


In general, BBB recommends consumers use caution before purchasing any items from or payment into investment for this business entity online as we have not yet confirmed this to be a legitimate Texas business location or operation.

The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government's allegations, which have not yet been proven.

On June 15, 2021, the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Texas ("OAG") filed a lawsuit against "Blessings in No Time" (BINT) for promoting a pyramid scheme during the COVID-19 pandemic, scamming tens of millions of dollars from the African American community in Texas and nationwide. In exchange for monetary contributions, BINT promised to assist needy members of the African American Community affected by the pandemic in the form of a "blessing"--or compensation--eight times the amount of their initial contribution.

Victims paid between $1,400 to $1,425 and were promised a return of over $11,200 each if they recruited other people to join. BINT falsely promised each person the right to receive a full refund but manipulated that promise to require them to conceal the truth about the business on social media and the internet. Now, the owners admit their refund account is empty even as many refund requests have gone unpaid.
