This company is dishonest and will lie to get your business. My "Account Executive" Bryan H****s gave me a completely bogus proposal that showed my past credit card fees would only be 2.39% at Sphere as opposed to the 2.89% + $.30 per transaction I paid with Square. In addition he showed me I would have a monthly fee of $7.95. When I received my first invoice I was charged a higher rate of 2.79% and monthly fees totaled $19.84. When I first brought this to Bryans attention he deflected and stated that I'll be glad I have those other fees because they were for my protection. What a load of cr@&! He then said some cards process at the 2.39% but others were at 2.89% and he just quotes at 2.39% because he has no way of knowing until the charge is incurred. Long story short, it took three back and forth before Bryan sent me an email apologizing and admitting he had "never made a mistake this large" and I should close my account with him because I was better off at Square. I said fine please reimburse me the difference I paid you and what I would have paid Square and close my account. Meanwhile another transaction occurs before the account is closed. On this transaction I paid $36.43 for a $600 transaction, a whopping 6.07%, or $17.64 more than Square charges me for the exact same transaction. They have said they will not reimburse me, because the transactions have already occurred. When I tried to speak with someone in customer service, they were very well trained in saying "no" and not much help. Bryan just continues to play dumb and doesn't understand why I'm upset. I asked the original sales rep who sent me to them (through ACN, an MLM that Sphere sales through) to get involved. When she got flustered and tried to speak to someone else she was told Bryan was the boss and no fees would be reimbursed. PERIOD. This company knowingly lied to get the business, and refused to make it right after admitting they made a mistake (lying is not a mistake). Do not do business with Sphere.
