Since June of 2017, the BBB Houston began receiving several complaints and customer reviews against Nationwide Coin & Bullion Reserve Inc. that are exhibiting the following pattern;
Consumers alleged that the business utilizes bait and switch tactics which led to their investment of thousands of dollars into coins. They report the coins are not valued as they anticipated. Consumers have also reported not receiving their purchased coins despite paying for them.
The pattern remains present in complaints filed in 2020 & 2021.
Nationwide Coin & Bullion Reserve Inc has responded to all complaints sent from the BBB. Customers are closing the complaints as resolved by the business.

Our bureau notified the company in April of 2018 of the pattern found; the company would like you to know…
- Nationwide Coin does NOT engage in any alleged bait and switch tactics. All advertised products are in stock, are offered to customers and orders taken. Customers are informed of other available products.
- Nationwide Coin sells coins produce by The United States Mint from the U.S. Government.
- Nationwide Coin uses Federal Express overnight delivery with signature required acceptance (Federal Express tracking numbers) and the United States Postal Service (Postal tracking number). Nationwide has purchased insurance on all packages shipped by Federal Express and/or United States Postal Service. If for some reason the product is not delivered to customer, Nationwide files an insurance claim with notification to the customer. The customer then has the choice of reshipping the coins or receiving a full refund.
- Only customer fully authorized credit card charges are made along with a separate independent verification call to customers for their protection.
- Nationwide Coin has the staff to resolve customer concerns to the full satisfaction of every customer. Nationwide Coins has responded and resolved any and customer issues and concerns.
- For the safety and security of Nationwide Coin customers, all employees are bonded by Merchants Bonding Company.
To facilitate consumer confidence, Nationwide Coin has created a Compliance Department. The Compliance Department provides continuous education and training to it sales staff and other employees.
Customers have direct contact with the Compliance Department instead of sales representatives. Consumers have a secure feeling their concerns are being heard and dealt with in a prompt and fair manner to the consumer’s satisfaction.
