On September 17, 2020, BBB Serving North Central Texas requested that the business substantiate, modify, or discontinue advertising claims on its company's website stating, "On average, our ACT student have increased their test score by 5 points, greatly increasing their chances of gaining entrance into their university of choice. Our average SAT score increase is 229 points.", "In fact, after only about 3 months of tutoring, our students typically achieve 2+ grade levels of growth.", and "Results are based on surveys of 3,298 Huntington students graduating in 2019, using their initial Huntington Academic Evaluation and final SAT/ACT test score."

Section 1 of the BBB Code of Advertising states, "The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB."

Section 34 of the BBB Code of Advertising states, "Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data."

While the business initially responded to our request, as of May 7, 2021, the business has failed to substantiate, modify, or discontinue the advertising claims in question.
