Beginning March 2020, the BBB began receiving complaints for The Preparation by Kaci that exhibit the same pattern. Per the complainants, they are ordering and paying for nutritional prepared meals but are not receiving them. One consumer reported in early March, they did receive some of the meals that were paid for but were told the company was closing down due to the pandemic. Per the consumer they were offered a refund but it was never receive.
Complaints received in April 2020 allege, the company is accepting orders and payment but consumers are not receiving the meals. It is also alleged, that when consumers reach out to try and contact the company for an update or refund, the company is unresponsive. The company’s website is longer active.
The company currently has 3 complaints that have closed No Response and 7 Resolving complaints.
On May 13, 2020, BBB submitted a written request to the company encouraging them to address the pattern of complaints. Company responded stating;
