Specifically, consumers recently reported they've paid in advance for a car cleaning/detail that was never completed. The BBB has received five complaints within the past six months. Of the five complaints, one was acknowledged by Clean Way Detail, who claimed the owner was diagnosed with a medical condition and hospitalized. However, the business continued to collect payment for four future services of which zero were performed and the consumers claim they've not received refunds.
BBB contacted the company on December 16, 2021, to request their voluntary cooperation in responding to the unanswered complaints as well as eliminating the pattern of complaint; however, the company failed to respond.
