To accomplish the organization's mission, it shall work actively to ensure that deployment of financial support will maximize the resources available to agencies for services aimed at the most urgent needs of the community; community support is mustered and committed for the entire United Way program which both speaks and listens to the community; all united way operations are managed effectively and to provide assistance to agencies wishing to improve their management skills. The organization's board of directors meets quarterly with the majority of members participating.
