- Additional Info:Consumers have advised BBB that The Mortgage Service Center sends unsolicited letters, some labeled FINAL NOTICE, that appear to be from their mortgage company. However, they are not affiliated with any mortgage or banking institution. One consumer reported, "The letter lists our county, closing date, loan amount and lender implying it is in fact from our lender. The letter says "We have been trying to reach you regarding a matter of some importance as it relates to your mortgage. Please call 1-844-457-3322. Thank you, The Mortgage Service Center" again as if it is from the mortgage service sender of our lender." Other consumers have reported similar experiences.
BBB has reached out to the business by mail from November 2021 through February 2022 in an attempt to address. However, all the letters were returned by the United States Postal Service as "not deliverable".
