Better Business Bureau (BBB) is informing consumers and businesses about the marketplace conduct of Albion Logistics, a logistics company that facilitates payment and delivery of vehicles for owners on Facebook Marketplace.
On October 17, 2023, BBB was made aware of Albion Logistics when consumers began filing Scam Tracker Submissions, called BBB for information and filed complaints.
Consumers are alleging that they contact a seller on Facebook Marketplace about a vehicle who then puts them in contact with Albion Logistics for payment and delivery. Consumers further report that Albion Logistics states that they need to make payment upfront, the vehicle will be delivered, and they have a 5-day window to request the return of the vehicle at no cost to them and the return of all monies paid.
On October 17, 2023, BBB requested background and operational information from the business. As of November 15, 2023, the business has failed to respond to BBB’s requests. As a result, BBB may not have current information about this business and recommends consumers use caution when doing business with Albion Logistics.
BBB is unable to locate licensing with the US Department of Transportation for Albion Logistics.
On November 15, 2023, BBB spoke with Ms. Winsome P., a registered SC Notary Public, who states she has not notarized any documents for Albion Logistics and is fraudulently using her signature and seal on Escrow Agreement(s).
On November 17, 2023, BBB spoke with the SC Department of Insurance who stated Raymond F. is not the current Director of Insurance and did not sign any Escrow Agreement(s).
While BBB continues to accept and report complaints, customer reviews and scam tracker submissions against this business and fulfill its responsibility to inform businesses of communications from its customers, BBB recommends that consumers contact the following agencies:

BBB also recommends that if consumers paid for services, and have not received services, that they should file a complaint with their local police department for “Breach of Trust”.
BBB recommends that consumers always check the business out first by contacting their local BBB or www.BBB.org before doing business with a new company. It is recommended that you do not pay with a money order, through Western Union or MoneyGram, but use a credit card in case you need to dispute the charges. Always use a secure Internet connection when making a purchase. Reputable websites use technologies such as SSL (Secure Socket Layer) that encrypt data during transmission. Look for the little padlock in the address bar or a URL that starts with "https" instead of "http," as the "s" stands for "secure."
