On November 12, 2015 BBB corresponded with Laurel Mountain Mustang regarding a pattern of complaints.
BBB files indicate this business has a pattern of complaints concerning consumers alleging issues with refunds, deliveries, and customer service. Consumers allege after processing and paying for an order, they discover or receive an email indicting the item(s) is on backorder. In requesting the order cancelled due to not receiving the items (some consumers allege they waited over a month) on backorder consumers allege the business fails to provide the promised refund. Consumers allege they have contacted the business multiple times via phone and email regarding their delivery and refund issues, to no avail. Additionally, some consumers have alleged they have only received a partial order, or the shipments have missing or wrong parts.
As of October 2015, consumers are alleging when they contact the business they receive a recorded message advising they are calling outside of business hours. Although the company has not been responsive to BBB, if you have a complaint it’s important to the BBB to receive current complaints as part of our ongoing review. As of November 30, 2015 the company has been unresponsive to BBB's requests.
