            On April 2, 2019, BBB of Western Pennsylvania requested background information from the business including new permanent address and contact information, a description of their services, names of all principals involved in the company and their three year work history, a copy of their refund/exchange policy as well as advertising and marketing methods.

            As of 05/09/2019, BBB has exhausted all forms of contact to the business. Phone calls are not being returned, emails are not being opened and mail is not being returned to sender. Consumers with outstanding concerns are still encouraged to file a complaint for BBB records but may also wish to contact legal counsel and/or Pennsylvania Attorney General's office.

            In April, 2019, the BBB of Western Pennsylvania opened an investigation into T W C Wig Co.’s business practices. This investigation was prompted by a large number of consumer complaints filed against the business. Those complaints involve consumers having issues with contacting the business for returns and/or refunds. 

            Pattern of Complaint

            On March 5, 2020 BBB corresponded with TWC The Wig Company  regarding a pattern of complaints:
            BBB files indicate this business has a pattern of complaints concerning consumers alleging issues with Delivery, Product, Refund or Exchange, and Customer Service.  Consumers state they ordered and paid for products which were never received.  Consumers also state that they ordered and paid for products but were sent the wrong products.  Customers allege that they returned products within the time frame allotted by the company, but never received their refund.  Consumers claim that when they tried to contact the business regarding their concerns, their phone calls and emails were not returned. 

            The BBB will continue to monitor incoming complaints.
