On July 17, 2019, BBB of Western Pennsylvania requested
background information from HomesFan including any applicable licensing or
registration, their three year work history as well as advertising and
marketing methods. The BBB sent a letter to the business with the following
questions:
1) Names of all principals involved in the company,
their positions, phone numbers and addresses.
2) Provide proof of HomesFan
start date. Pennsylvania law requires all companies doing business using a
fictitious name, must be registered with the PA Division of Corporations.
Please provide the BBB with your entity number that is registered with the state.
3) We see that 249 Fifth
Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15222 is a commercial property owned by PNC Bank. Please
provide a copy of your lease or statement letter provided from PNC bank for use
of the property.
4) BBB
research shows HomesFan operations are out of Canada. Please provide
explanation to your business ventures out of Canada and provide additional
locations in which HomesFan uses for business operations i.e. warehouses,
offices and so forth.
As of 08/13/2019, the business has failed to respond to
the BBB's request for information.

On July 17, 2019BBB serving Western Pennsylvania conducted an Advertising Review on HomesFan’s websiteand challenged them on the following statements:
Privacy Policy i.e. “[INSERT IF AGE RESTRICTION IS REQUIRED]] MINORS
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of[[INSERT AGE]] .”
In Terms of Service it states "Youacknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools ”as is” and “asavailable” without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kindand without any endorsement."
“Over 24,245 successfully shipped orders wemade as many happy customers as many orders we shipped. You simply have to joinour big family.”
