On September 7, 2016 BBB corresponded with The Powder Room regarding a pattern of complaints:
BBB files indicate this business has a pattern of complaints concerning consumers alleging issues with Contract, Refund, and Customer Service issues. Consumer contend a deposit is made to the business for wedding services (hair and makeup) however; the business does not maintain the scheduled appointment(s). Consumers claim the business does not honor their request for a refund (for services not performed/maintained). Additionally, consumers maintain they had an unsatisfactory customer service experience when interacting with the business, as they fail to respond (calls, emails, and text messages).
The business has been unresponsive to BBB complaints. Although the company is not being responsive at this time, it’s important if you have a complaint to file one with the BBB Dispute Resolution Program as part of our ongoing review.
