Important information
- Additional Info:On August 2, 2010 Alcoa announced it purchased the assets of Three Rivers Aluminum Company d/b/a TRACO. Alcoa purchased only the commercial business assets of this company. It did not purchase the residential window business. TRACO is now part of Alcoa’s Building and Construction Systems business.
The residential business was sold in 2008 to an entity named Echo Windows LLC. At that time, Echo assumed all warranty liabilities for the residential products. Subsequently, Echo sold the assets of one product line to MGM Industries, a Tennessee Corporation in 2009. MGM Industries honored the warranties of the Veka product line for a period of two years in order to support dealers who were buying the TRACO product. The assets were purchased by MGM Industries in February 2009. Their warranty period for the TRACO/Echo product expired in February 2011. There is no longer warranty coverage for residential TRACO products.
Commercial TRACO products are handled by Alcoa. Information can be found at www.alcoa.com.
