I placed an order on Macy's online store on November 7th (order #**********), but never received the items (web id:********, upc: ************ and ************). The items were said to have been delivered on the 22nd of November. When I couldn't find them, I emailed customer service two times who said that they would reship the item. Again I haven't received the items. I then went on to call customer service in hope that might help. They told me that they would reship it and contact me in 24-48 hours to provide more information. Again I did not receive the items and also wasn't contacted. At this point I am not too sure what to do as I believe I've tried everything. As a last resort, I am filing this complaint in hope we can solve this issue. Thank you in advance.Business response

I purchased a ******* ***** Diamonds Lab-Grown Diamond Anniversary Ring (1/2 ct. t.w.) in Sterling Silver ring from Macy's on February 7, 2021. I noticed that within a few months, the ring began to lose it's silver-tone and turn a hideous black color. I reached out to Macy's for assistance but continued to get the run around from their rude, unprofessional, and completely incompetent customer service representatives. This ring is obviously NOT true silver as real silver does not turn black, which I could not remove with a typical silver jewelry cleaner. Customer service reps refused to assist, claiming that the ring is past the 60-day return policy. It appears that Macy's is selling faux costume jewelry and passing it off as " fine jewelry." They refuse to rectify this matter despite the issue being solely their fault. Most fine jewelry stores will remedy the issue, especially if they are concerned about losing a loyal customer. This ring retails for over $300 yet it is as poorly made as a faux silver ring I could have purchased from Avon or elsewhere. When I first reached out to Macy's customer service, they agreed to reach out to corporate and resolve the issue, but never respondedback. From there on out, each subsequent representative was dismissive and completely unhelpful.Business response

We are in receipt of BBB Complaint ******** dated 11/28/2021. We have reviewed the details of the complaint involving the replacement of **** ******** ******* Diamond Anniversary Ring; purchased 2/7/2021.
Based on our returns policy, the item was available for return only until 4/30/2021. The ring was purchase on macys.com order# **********, dated 2/7/2021. Due to the purchase of the ring being past our return’s timeframe, we will not be able to process a refund or replacement.
We have answered the complaint and consider the matter closed.Customer response
