I dropped my ring off for repairs on Oct 22 with an expected completion date of November 5. Zales representative called me on Nov 11 stating I needed to pay $500 to get my ring repaired. When I originally purchased the ring, I purchased a lifetime warranty on it. When I dropped it off the representative told me that the repairs would be free because my warranty would cover the repairs. I pulled my original receipts and called the Zales representative back to inform them that I had the warranty and should not have to pay for the repairs. ******* (Zales Rep) called me and said your ring will be repaired at no cost. ******* told me that she will call me when the ring has been repaired. I called the store on Nov 22 and spoke with ******* and the ************** they could not tell me when my ring would be back from repairs for me to pick up. On Nov 24 I called Zales ************* and spoke with ***. *** opened up a case and told me she would call the store. The local store could not tell *** when my ring would be repaired and returned to me. *** told me to give the store until Nov 29 to call me back. After I did not receive a telephone call back from ***; I called Zales ************* and ****** opened up case and escalated the complaint. ****** told me that a District manager would call me to resolve the issue and get me my ring back. Today is Dec 1 and I have not received a telephone call back so I called the customer care telephone number again and spoke with ****** ***** researched the account and told me that she would escalate the call and have a district manager call. I am very frustrated at the lack of customer service for my ring. This ring is very important to me and Zales representatives seem not to care about me the customer. I will never purchase any jewelry from Zales again.
