- Additional Info:An investigation was opened by BBB staff regarding Capeles on July 19th, 2022. This investigation was prompted by a large volume of complaints and negative customer reviews about the company. The complaints and customer reviews allege that Capeles is selling broken appliances and not delivering goods that were paid for. In August 2020, BBB received a Scam Tracker submission about a Capeles purchase and in November 2020, BBB received its first formal complaint from a consumer. In a majority of the complaints, the consumer states they unknowingly purchased a broken appliance and the company would not refund or repair the item. A few consumers also mention that the company fails to deliver purchases and blocks the consumers from further contact. To date, BBB has received 18 complaints, most of which have been closed with no response from the business.
