According to the company's various Web sites, registration for membership in its artist management company, Discovery Talent, requires an upfront fee of $249 for 1 year.  A fee of $149 is charged for a 6 month registration and $99 for a 3 month registration. Payments must be made by Western Union.  In addition, the company will receive 20% of any payment received for jobs they secure for the member.

Screenworks Entertainment held an audition on July 8, 2012 for The Grace Family television pilot, one of its productions. Participants in the audition were required to purchase a $10 script fee in advance in order to register for the audition. This fee could only be paid with a Green Dot MoneyPak card. Registrants for the audition were also required to agree that if chosen for a role, they would join Discovery Talent at the yearly rate of $149.

The Grace Family's Web site, on its casting guidelines page, requires that inexperienced actors cast for a character role in The Grace Family show take 6 weeks of classes at a cost of $199. All actors chosen for a role must also purchase an Electronic Press Kit for $199.  Actors also agree in writing that they will be paid no more than $3,000 if the pilot is picked up by a major television network.
