According to the BBB Code of Advertising, when using the term “warranty” or“guarantee” in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly andconspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty canbe seen prior to sale at the advertiser's location, viewed on the advertiser’swebsite or, in the case of mail or telephone order sales, made available freeon written request. Additionally, BBB requested the business clearly disclose the rules for the contest offered on its Facebook page. If contests are used, the advertisermust publish clear, complete and concise rules and provide competent impartialjudges to determine the winners - another requirement of the BBB Code of Advertising.
