            The firm currently operates the following four subsidiaries that provide client services: Deloitte & Touche LLP, Deloitte Consulting LLP, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP and Deloitte Tax LLP.

            Products & Services

            On June 18, 2013, the New York State Department of Financial Services fined Deloitte $10 million and barred the consulting giant from advising banks chartered in New York for a year. The financial services department said the penalties stemmed from Deloitte's "misconduct, violations of law, and lack of autonomy" during its work with Standard Chartered on anti-money laundering matters. Last year, DFS also secured a $340 million settlement with the large British bank for illegally allowing Iranian entities to funnel money into the U.S. Standard Chartered later paid $327 million to settle with federal regulators. The $10 million fine is an easy sum for Deloitte to absorb but the ban on providing consulting services to New York banks could sting. There are nearly 450 banks, thrifts and credit unions licensed to do business in the state. While regulators occasionally bar individual consultants or accountants for wrongdoing, it is rare for them to prohibit big consulting or accounting firms from doing their business. Deloitte consented to a series of reforms as part of its settlement with the Department of Financial Services.
