The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the governments allegations, which have not yet been proven.
David Gizinski, of Gizinski Construction, LLC. was arrested by the Sullivan County Sheriff's office on February 16, 2024 and charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, a class D Felony. It is alleged that the defendant received $13,656.38 from a Grahamsville couple as a 50% down payment for a roofing job in November 2023. The victims were unable to contact Gizinski after he took their money and never started the work. Gizinski was arraigned before Neversink Town Justice and is due back in the Town of Neversink Court on Tuesday March 19, 2024.
In mid-May 2024, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office reported that it had again arrested David Gizinski of Gizinski Construction, LLC in connection with allegedly two more contractor schemes; for taking $1,012.50 on a window replacement job in the Town of Thompson and $3,000 to repair a deck in Fallsburg. None of the work was ever started.
