Medical Career Training /  Allied Health Certification Programs:

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant / Aide - A CNA provides nursing care and services for people of all ages, and works under the supervision of licensed health care professionals. In this course, you will learn about growth and development throughout the life span,  vital signs, personal care and aseptic techniques. You will learn how to observe physical, mental and emotional conditions and report any changes to the nursing or medical staff.

Patient Care Tech - Working closely with doctors and other medical professionals, a Patient Care Technician administers therapeutic programs and monitors the condition of patients. You will use your technical knowledge to provide direct patient care including phlebotomy (blood work) and EKG's. This course prepares individuals as entry level Nursing Technicians. Students must have passed the Nursing Assistant Exam and be certified.

Phlebotomy - In this course, you will learn the basic principles of blood drawing, identification of color coded tubes, practicing blood draw on artificial arm, universal precut (Precautions), and common sites of venipuncture and skin puncture. In addition, you will be taught isolation techniques and how to handle the specimens for accurate results.

EKG Technician - The aim of this course is to teach you the techniques and operation of accurate EKG recording. It will prepare you to take the national certification exam for electrocardiograph technicians. You will learn the basic principles of electropysiology of the heart and how to recognize electrocardiograph waveforms. The course also covers medical terminology and medical law.

Pharmacy Technician - The Pharmacy Technician training program teaches the skills needed to gain employment as a Pharmacy Tech in either the hospital or retail setting. The objective of the Pharmacy Technician Program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions in pharmacies as well as prepare for national certification.

Medical Billing & Coding - Learn the basic concepts, applications, and procedures and applications you will need to know to perform tasks relating to health insurance and all types of billing, reviewing and filing of insurance claim forms. This course will also help to prepare you for the Medical Billing certification exam. It also provides classes in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, basics of ICD9CM and CPT coding.

Financial Services Pro - Peachtree and Quickbooks are two of the most widely-used accounting / financial application packages. This course focuses on training you in the use of these packages and also provides training in the basics of financial services.

Security Guard - Our certified security guard training program leads to optimum qualification and enables our graduates to obtain the best security jobs available in the industry.
