BBB files indicate a pattern of complaints concerning lack of disclosure of customer enrollment in a negative option billing plan by Rockin' Wellness. Consumers are telling BBB that after they place an order for a product on the company's website, they realize that they have been enrolled in an automatic renewal program (VIP program) for which they are charged a monthly fee for more products. These consumers say they were not properly informed by the company about the enrollment and did not give their consent to it. After consumers receive the additional products from the VIP Program, those that contact the company's customer service department for a refund allege that they are told that they must to pay a restocking fee for the products and pay for the return shipping.
BBB has contacted the company about the aforementioned issues. The company has responded and informed BBB that in order to improve transparency, they have re-designed their website. One of the new features of the website that consumers can choose during checkout between a one-time shipment and a "Subscribe & Save" option, which offers the lower recurring price. The company says the disclosure of the different payment options is very clear for consumers.
