According to information in BBB files, it appears that this business is no longer in business.

Several consumers recently began complaining to the BBB that this company, Freedom Bay Financial, is offering loans to consumers, and requesting an upfront fee, designated as either insurance or a "good faith payment," in order to guarantee the loan. Consumers are reporting to the BBB that they are not receiving the loans they applied for, despite making the "insurance" payments to Freedom Bay Financial. These advance payments run from $400-$800. Consumers tell the BBB that they are unable to reach the company to inquire about the status of their loan application or request a refund of the advance fees paid.

The BBB tried to contact Freedom Bay Financial when mail was returned as invalid by the U.S. Post Office from the Northern Blvd. address (posted on the company's website). The BBB also made several attempts via telephone and e-mail to contact representatives of this business. The BBB is seeking clarification of the company's business practices, modification of their advertising, as well as an update on their operating area and mailing address. This company has not responded to any of the BBB's requests for additional information.
