Pattern of Complaints:
In June 2019 BBB noticed a pattern of complaints from consumers alleging that they did not sign up for service with MyKloudBox and did not authorize payments taken from their bank accounts. Additionally, complaints allege the information the business has for the consumer is old and outdated. BBB also received complaints alleging that the business used the name of the consumers pet and not the name of the consumer to set up the account. Additional complaints allege difficulty in reaching the business, refunds promised but not issued and complaints from seniors who do not have computers or internet and therefore would not have a need for MyKloudBox services. BBB communicated our concerns to the business in June 2019 and followed up with further communications in July and September 2019. Although the business issued refunds to the consumers once they filed a BBB complaint, MyKloudBox has not provided BBB with clear information about how they obtained the consumers information. As of September 2019 BBB remains concerned about the pattern of complaints.
