On May 13, 2021 BBB reached out to ARC Claims Management regarding a pattern of complaints filed against the business.
BBB received claims from consumers stating they have been unable to get claim status or updates, outlining their inability to connect with their assigned adjuster. Consumers have reported lengthy hold times, multiple unreturned voicemail messages and unanswered emails.
ARC Claims Management advised BBB of the following:
Claims Volume vs. BBB complaints on a monthly basis is less than .1%. These numbers are submitted in an effort to dispel the BBB’s perception that ARC has a pattern of non-responsiveness or a high volume of complaints in relation to its claims volume. ARC concedes that there are issues with a handful of claims that eventually reach the BBB. Those claims are the exception and not the norm.
Although ARC claims Management responded to BBB’s inquiry, BBB does not find the response sufficient to address an underlying cause of the complaints.
