In March 2018, BBB advised Aspen Dental of continued concerns regarding the pattern of complaints being received from customers in Mississippi locations. Consumers state specific issues when filing complaints involve service issues, customer service issues, and issues when billing their insurance companies for services not provided.
Mr. Ron Hobbs, Senior Patient Satisfaction Specialist, Aspen Dental Management, Inc submitted the following response:
"The specific complaints submitted via your e-mail in February have been responded to. As I have stated previously, all Aspen Dental BBB Complaints should be submitted via e-mail to the following e-mail address…patientservice@aspendental.com The complaints should reflect the physical address of the individual dental office as provided by the consumer, but not be sent via regular mail. By sending the complaints to a centralized source, the management of and response to them can be expedited.As you may be aware, Aspen Dental has branded dental offices nationwide. We are in 38 states and growing and although we are not presently nationally accredited with the BBB. We have made the decision to continue to accept and respond to the complaints and reviews as a service to our patients and in keeping with our values and commitments. In working towards that end we ask that you submit any complaints as requested. We will continue to respond as quickly as possible, but more importantly work to resolve any patient dissatisfactions directly with our valued patients."
