July 7, 2015 BBB sent a letter via certified mail to the business requesting certain information regarding its pattern of complaints.
BBB files indicate that Diamond Head Inn & Suites has seen an increase in the number of complaints filed and a pattern of complaints concerning the following:
* General Manager/Owner Not responding to consumer complaints.
* Complaints state hotel rooms are extremely dirty and in need of maintenance.
* Complaints of Air conditioning and other hotel equipment not working properly. * Complaints to Management reporting dissatifaction with hotel staff being rude and not assisting with service and customer service issues.
* Complaints of noise outside of hotel rooms late at night and when reporting to the front desk excuses were given. * Complaints requesting refund and/or an adjustment went unanswered.BBB has made several attempts to contact Mr. Roger Jones, the owner of the company, requesting his response in writing but only would offer a verbal response. BBB continues to work with Mr. Jones to provide his company the opportunity the opportunity to respond to all previously unanswered and unresolved complaints to be answered and resolved.
To date, BBB continues to receive complaints alleging the same concerns and continues to experience difficulty getting the business to follow through on promised services.
