Better Business Bureau is advising consumers to use caution when considering doing business with Goedeker’s. BBB has received a pattern of consumer complaints alleging failure or delays to deliver ordered appliances and furniture, failure to provide refunds, long hold times when contacting customer service, failure to contact consumers and poor customer service.
On August 13, 2020, BBB sent a letter to the company with its concerns. Goedeker’s responded on August 13, 2020 that sales have grown tremendously this year. Due to COVID-19, appliance and furniture manufacturers have closed or partially closed which has caused delays in delivery times. They have hired additional staff to help with customer service and order processing. There’s been a decrease in hold times recently with the addition of new staff and they communicate with consumers when the order timeline is longer.
