Qualifications for any claim must beclear, conspicuous and understandable. When an advertiser qualifies ageneral claim with a specific benefit, the benefit should besignificant. Advertisers must not highlight small or unimportantbenefits. Unless clear from the context, any environmental claim mustspecify clearly and conspicuously whether the claim applies to theproduct, the product’s packaging, a service or just to a portion of theproduct, package or service.
Thecompany did not respond, and has not modified, substantiated or removed theclaim.
