- Advertising Review:
In October 2019, Better Business Bureau challenged EZ Cut CNC's website, www.ezcutcnc.com, which stated, “Made in the USA”, “Built in the USA”, and “Proudly made in the USA!”
In regards to Made in USA claims, the BBB Code of Advertising states,“‘Made in USA’ and similar terms used to describe the origin or aproduct must be truthful and substantiated. An advertiser must notexpress or imply that a product or product line is exclusively ‘Made inUSA’ unless all or virtually all of the product is made in the U.S. Allsignificant parts and processing that go into the product must be ofU.S. origin. That is, the product should contain no-ornegligible-foreign content.”
BBB asked the business to provide substantiation regarding the claim made on its website. The company did not respond to BBB’s request.
