Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11(b)(8)(90 (2020). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to be prohibited from filing electrical permits and requests for inspections in Minnesota unless the business is contractually obligated to perform the electrical work; ensure all workers who perform electrical work for the business have a master or journeyworker electrical license or are properly registered and are W-2 employees or an owner or partner of the business. The business also agreed to provide direct supervision of all registered unlicensed electricians as required by Minn. Statutes and maintain worker's compensation coverage for their employees. The business also agreed to pay $4000.00 of a $10,000.00 penalty, with the balance stayed on the condition they comply with the Order.
