Based on a report we've received from a consumer, BBB believes it’s highly likely FLS Forwarding is a fraudulent reshipping operation. Reshipping schemes are when scammers use stolen credit cards to buy merchandise and then utilize unsuspecting people - under the guise of a job offer (as either a forwarding or shipping agent) - to send the merchandise out of the
country, where the items are then sold on the black market. These reshipping scammers find victims through job search sites and say they're looking for workers to help expand their operations in the United States. In reality, there are no real jobs; they just need scapegoats in case authorities become aware of the scheme. Or else they take sensitive personal information submitted by job hunters - such as their Social Security number - and use it to steal their identities.

BBB is advising people to be very careful about 'offers' like this, as they could be charged with a crime if they become embroiled in these schemes. Job hunters should also be leery about providing too much personal information online as scammers are opportunistic and may use that information to open lines of credit.

When searching for employment, job searchers should immediately flag ads that fit this description, in whatever publication or on whatever website they're found.
