- Additional Info:A recent Better Business Bureau inquiry indicates this business/entity is not legitimate. Superior Heavy Machinery came to our attention in July of this year (2014). A consumer contacted us to say they had reached out to the company regarding a used piece of heavy equipment they were interested in purchasing. Superior Heavy Machinery forwarded the customer a sales agreement which outlined that $25,000 would have to be wired to the UK, to the company's parent company - Atlas Darius Group. In many cases like this, where consumers wire funds overseas - or domestically - to people or entities they don't know or are unfamiliar with, the money is collected but consumers never receive the product or service ordered. Furthermore, a Google search for Atlas Darius Group turned up no results. BBB has contacted law enforcement in the Duluth area and reached out to a business near Superior Heavy Machinery's claimed location; the business owner had never heard of any such business. BBB also discovered that photos of equipment shown on the company website were duplicated from prior private eBay listings. We advise extreme caution when dealing with Superior Heavy Machinery and/or Atlas Darius Group.
