On June 30, 2023, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles that the business's application for a residential building contractor would be granted with the following conditions: the business shall contract business in their licensed name of Benison LLC; promptly respond to DLI with complete, truthful and accurate information; inform DLI if they are found to be a judgment debt within 15 days of the judgment and satisfy or appeal any civil judgments relating to their contracting business within 30 days of the judgment. The business agreed to a stay of a $5,000.00 penalty on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of this Order and any law, rule or Order under DLI Authority.
